Our external need for comfort, validation, satisfaction and relief are able to be transformed when we realize life is not happening to us and around us, it is happening through us and for us. This realization and choosing higher states of consciousness presents limitless life opportunities and deeply satisfying, self-nurturing work.
Rising consciousness brings awareness to the parts of ourselves that no longer resonate, that have become useless and that we are ready to use less. This conscious state of being sits patiently under the layers of avoidance, distraction, protection, defense and denial. With simple recognition, acceptance and grace for all experiences, life becomes empowered and something to cherish and enjoy in the present moment.
When we finally choose to take off the masks, face ourselves in the mirror and become fully responsible, we become aware of how our inner world shapes our outer reality. From this point, we can begin to prioritize healthier ways of living, relating and being.
Time in nature is important to remove, release, reset and renew our level of awareness and reimagine what’s possible when doubt and fear are replaced with self-belief and calm centeredness. Nature represents true freedom through authenticity and presence. It works as a messenger and mirror for personal evolution. Nature doesn’t seek perfection or performance, it just is. Nature’s nourishing components, supportive vibrations and chemical interplay of forests, rivers, mountains, landscapes, atmospheres and wild places are all medicine for the soul and catalysts for transformation.
